If this is for me, why share?
Because creativity and storytelling have been the lenses I’ve used to make sense of the world since I was a kid. Elaborate character arcs with plastic figures. Daydreams about different versions of myself. Full worlds built in my brain just to understand this place that never quite made sense.
I’d draw and paint whatever had captured my attention that week. It was my way of building bridges to feelings and thoughts I couldn’t yet name.
And for years, I’ve felt this tug to share those bridges. To put my story out there in case someone else might find something useful in the mess. Not because I think everyone will connect with it, but because the stories might just help someone else.
Maybe you’ll recognize something in this mess. Maybe you won’t, and that’s okay too.
